Wrongful Death Suit Filed in Pedicab Accident

The wife of a man killed in a pedicab accident in downtown Seattle last year has filed suit against the cab company and the cab manufacturer for wrongful death. Mary Dzioba, wife of Peter Dzioba, filed the claim against Cascadia Cabs of Seattle and manufacturer Ningbo Nanyang of China on Monday. Dzioba was thrown from the pedicab after the driver, who reportedly could not brake at a red light, collided with a scooter and a minivan. His wife was also thrown from the cab, but experienced non-life threatening injuries. The lawsuit claims that the cab's brakes were faulty.

Many automobile accidents are caused by defective products. Dealing with the death of a loved one is never easy. However, the death is more difficult to accept when it is the result of a poorly designed or manufactured product. If you have lost a loved one in an accident caused by a faulty product, you may have a claim for wrongful death. An experienced Seattle accident lawyer can help bring the responsible parties to justice in your case.
