Cyclist Hits, Seriously Injures Seattle Pedestrian

A Seattle pedestrian was rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening after being hit by a cyclist while crossing the street. The pedestrian was attempting to cross Beacon Street near College when struck by a bicycle heading north on Beacon. According to news reports, the pedestrian suffered life-threatening head injuries in the accident. His injures have since been downgraded to non-life threatening.

This incident is a sad reminder that even bicycles can cause serious injuries and even death to other cyclists or pedestrians involved in the accident. It is important that both cyclists and pedestrians follow all applicable traffic laws in order to reduce the risk of accidents and of injury. Pedestrians or cyclists injured in any type of accident should contact a Seattle accident lawyer to recover compensation for their medical bills, pain and suffering, and lost wages that resulted from the accident.
