Pedestrians Hit, Killed by Portland City Bus
Two pedestrians were killed and three others injured by a city bus in Portland on Saturday night. The group was walking to a comedy club when the bus, which was not in service, hit them while turning onto NW Broadway Boulevard. Two women were killed, one man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and two others - a man and a woman - suffered only minor injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation, but police say that speed does not appear to be a factor in the accident. The driver of the bus has not been arrested.

Police arrested the 22-year-old driver of a Honda that hit a construction barrier on Interstate 5 in Seattle late Monday night and crashed into the back of a Department of Transportation vehicle. Spanaway Pastor Dies in Motorcycle Crash
A local pastor was killed Sunday when his motorcycle crashed with a passenger vehicle on Eighth Avenue South in Roy. Thom Carlson, 43, was transported to a local medical center, where he died from his injuries at just before 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
